They say your car is a reflection of your personality... I have no car.

So as most of you know... I don't have a job yet! So I the great privilege of being at home all day (I would rather be working) and so after the first week or so I had cleaned the house everyday, organized the cupboards in the Kitchen, the bathroom, and of course the bedroom closets. I have prepared for my primary lesson about ten times (although you can never be too prepared for seven year olds) and have finally decided to sit down and update the blog. But what is really sad is that I have pretty much updated you already! Wait I lie. We do have some very good news... WE GOT A PIANO. Now neither of us know how to play it and we don't quite know how we are going to get it up and into our house but WE GOT A PIANO! We bought it at a yard sale for 100 bucks and it is in good condition it just needs to be tuned. The yard sale was for the people that my sister is buying her house from and so it is currently in the house that they are waiting to move into. Greg (my brother in law...Chris's husband) and Brandon both tried to pick it up and they couldn't even get it off the ground... like not even an inch, so moving it will be REALLY interesting! It's times like that... when people are moving really heavy stuff... that I am so glad that I am a girl. I get to say "okay move it over here... watch out for the door frame... is your back okay sweetie?" That's my whole job. Well I would have to dust it, of course, but I don't really have to lift a finger.. just a duster!

  2. Moving pianos is definitely no fun. I don't do any lifting but I'm always so worried they going bump, drop, scratch it. Congrats though. A piano is a great thing to have.

Give us a call if you ever want to head down this way. We'd love to see you guys!

Dang, too bad you don't have a car because you could learn to play piano @ my house (like I even have time... I'm looking at the dishes that aren't done, while I'm on the computer... instead of packing for our little family trek to Derby Acres).

Love the blog. Take more pics!!!
